Excellence Academy was founded by Jonah Emmanuel in 2017 to make quality education easier to understand and more accessible to students.
Our learning platform supports adult learners and university students through clear video lessons, exam preparation, science and engineering courses, scholarship guidance and practical academic resources.
We believe difficult subjects become manageable when learners receive patient explanations, useful examples and the confidence to keep practising.

Jonah Emmanuel
Jonah Emmanuel is a teacher, academic coach, entrepreneur and education creator. He holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Rivers State University, Port Harcourt, Nigeria, and serves as the founder, lead instructor and director of Excellence Academy.
He was nominated as one of Nigeria’s leading under-25 entrepreneurs in 2021. In 2022, he represented Port Harcourt at The Next Titan entrepreneurial reality television show in Lagos after emerging as a leading contender in the education category.
In 2025, he received the Overall Best Teacher in Rivers State award at the Teacher’s Spotlight and Award Summit and was also recognised as Overall Best Creator in Education.
